Strength

2. Strong Promoter in Asia market.
3. Well established LCC operating out of South East Asia
4. It has operations in over 25 countries and over 400 international and national destinations.
5. It has subsidiaries in Indonesia, Thai, Philippines, Japan.
6.It has a fleet size of nearly 300 aircraft.

Weakness
1. Not on too many routes as compared to market leaders.
2. Stiff competition in its sector.

Opportunity
1. The increasing traffic from India and Indians prefer budget airlines as they are cost conscious.
2. Has Positioned itself as the major LCC in SE Asia.

Threats
1. Rising of Fuel Costs.
2. Rising of Labour Costs.
3. Rise of Other LCCs in Market.

Strength

6. It operates across ASEAN under several corporate entities

Weakness
1. Competition from international banks means limited market growth
2. Presence restricted to South East Asian nations only.

Opportunity
1. The opportunity to acquire customers outside ASEAN.
2. Products to help small scale entrepreneurs.
3. New organization structure & training programs for employees.
4. Optimization of the existing franchise and improvement in areas such as SME banking and cross-selling.

Threats
1. Causes of natural disasters on stock market i.e, Japan Tsunami and Earthquakes.
2. Business income comes from ASEAN region, so any adverse situation in politics or financial markets can lead to huge losses.
3. Global slowdown.
